Coffee Playdough Cupcakes

Neevah likes to bake her favourite would be making cupcakes but I am not always in the mood for baking. Yesterday she was been rather insistent that she needed to make cupcakes so we made a batch of coffee playdough (no cooking needed) and with a few props she set about making her very own cupcakes

Coffee Playdough

4 cups unsifted all purpose flour
1 cup salt
1/4 cup instant coffee1 1/2 cups warm water

Dissolve the coffee in the warm water. In another bowl, mix the flour and the salt. Make a well and add 1 cup of the coffee water into it. Mix with a fork or with your hands until smoother. Add more coffee water as needed: dough should be smooth not sticky or crumbling. Store in air tight container.

I found the recipe here but I halved the quantity
Neevah mixing the playdough - not long after this she got her hands into it and decided it was very sticky (so I added a bit more flour) we also smelt the playdough Neevah couldn't pick the scent so I made some suggestions like does it smell like strawberries? does it smell like Dads coffee?
Neevah making her cupcakes in a muffin tray using toothpicks for candles
this also turned into a great counting exercise as she counted how many candles she added to each cupcake
