A is for Apple

I have seen a lot of A is for Alligator around the different blogs I read but I thought this could be easily confused with a Crocodile as we tend to talk about Crocodiles not Alligators. So we went for the fail proof route of A is for Apple even if somewhat unimaginative it is effective and Neevah is now jumping around the house saying A is for Apple!

You will need
1 Coloured piece of paper
1 Green piece of paper
Red Scrap Paper (we used tissue paper)
Leaves off Silk Flowers or Dark Green Paper
Green Crayon
Maker Pen
Glue
Scissors

To Make
1 .Cut out some Apple shapes from red paper and leaves from your dark green paper if needed
2 .Draw a large A on the Green Paper
3 .Let your child colour in the A with the green crayon4 .Cut out the A and glue to the coloured piece of paper5 .Glue on the Apples6 .Glue on the Leaves - I cut up some leaves from some old silk flowers to make smaller leaves for the apples
This craft would go great with the book Ten Apples Up On Top! - by Dr Seuss
I remember reading this book as a child and Neevah also enjoys it when I read it to her so I will dig it out for tonights bedtime story :)
