Baa Baa White Sheep

Way back in February we tried making puff paint using shaving cream and it failed miserably it was lots of fun to play with but definitely didn't dry puffy. At Neevah's request we are embarking on a farm theme and this has given us the perfect opportunity to try puff paint again and make a puffy, fluffy sheep. Team this craft up with a few rounds of Baa Baa White Sheep or Baa Baa Black Sheep and the kids will be having lots of fun.

You Will Need
Shaving Cream
White Glue
Thick Paper / Thin Cardboard
Black Paper
Scrap of Red Paper
Wiggly Eyes

To Make
1 .Cut out a Head and 4 Legs from the black paper, a Body shape from the thin cardboard and a Smile from the red paper
2 .Glue the Wiggly Eyes onto the head
3 .Glue the Smile onto the head
4 .Make the puff paint by mixing 3/4 cup of shaving cream with 1/4 cup of white glue
5 .Slop the puff paint onto the Sheep Body and mix around with your hands - this is lots of fun!
6 .Place the Head and 4 Legs on top of the puff paint (you will not need any extra glue as there is enough in the puff paint mix to make them stick)
7 .Leave to dry flat - how long it takes to dry will depend on how thick the paint is applied ours took roughly 3 hours to dry and it dried nice and puffy :)
8 .Have fun dancing the sheep around as you sing Baa Baa White Sheep or Baa Baa Black Sheep

Baa Baa White Sheep
Have you any wool
Yes sir, yes sir three bags full
One for the jumpers
One for the frocks
And one for the little girl with holes in her socks

So how did it go the second time around? Did you get the puffy effect down? :) I tried this as well... and the first try, I forgot to put glue! haha So you could imagine how that went! And the second try, we succeeded. Here's how ours went:
